ASP.Net MVC: Update data into Database using jQuery AJAX

Here Mudassar Ahmed Khan has explained with an example, how to update data into Database using jQuery AJAX and Entity Framework in ASP.Net MVC Razor. When the Update Button is clicked, the UpdateCustomer Action method is called using jQuery AJAX and the details of Customer are sent as JSON object. Finally, a Boolean response is sent to the View which indicates that the record was successfully updated or not.
